This must be sumething! It is under the If remover you void your warenty.
You can't see it well but if you look at your own.

Sometimes we should look at our guns a bit more. I have had mine since March , and never noticed that.
I didn't peal the Warentee sticker. . Cough. . Cough. . .
It has to do something!

Its a plug just like the four other plugs.

5150, do you have an opto board? i have the micro and my case is clear, so you can see then entire board. thats the first one i have seen thats black, but then again, mine is the only one i have seen.
i have heard that the plug is for programming the board, such as upgrading the cops to cops2 to and the mem versions of the board, ie taking a mem 4 to a mem 6, etc.
from the looks of it on that board, can you get to the jumpers? or do you have to crack open the case like i would have to do?
i would just like to know if one was removed if it would open the firing modes. what peaked my interest was i heard this was how the led's worked, and the boards are similar.

that is the port for the board to be reflashed.cant connect a standered serial cord to it as it is not an rs232.it is used to reprogram the raw data to the board.
Raw data= MODES,. . . .
Im coming over to your shop ken, and gonna borrow your lap top and your cable.

what about the jumpers. what are they for? i have read that port is for programming new software onto the board, but still havent heard about the jumpers.
what happens if you remove it?

5150 You should try the jumpers, and see what they do.
