Hi All,
Just got myself a new Angel IR3 and i'm dying to start tinkering with the settings. The problem is that my PDA runs windows mobile instead of PalmOs. I wonder if anyone has managed to install the Angel software on a notebook with Palm OS emulator? Is the software available in anyother platform? (I've searched unsuccessfully thus far, wonder about Beta versions)
Thanks...

There is a Palm OS emulator that can be downloaded for Windows, UNIX, and the Mac OS. The only problem is that I need to find a ROM file to use with the program. Still looking for one...
*edit* trying to get one off of a Handspring.

Tried to get a ROM file from my handspring and I couldn't get it to work. On the plus side the Angel software did work on a Handspring device.

The Angel software will not work using the PalmOS Emulator.
Yes, I've tried it.

It's a shame. It seems that I'll have to borrow a palm at work to program my IR3. Now I'm going to hear from the undying palm fans, specially after havin shown off my Compaq PDA for so long.

I tried this as well,
Spent about 4 hrs trying to get the PalmOS emulator to communicate with my IR3 via the IR port on my laptop.
Many hairs removed, many fists hitting the desk.
I gave up. I hope they release or someone codes an application to use on my Compq PDA.

Why doesnt WDP sort thier S*@% out and get this software for a windows and/or Mac operating system? I bet thier is hundreds of thousands of people around the world dying to program thier ir3's using thier laptop. I'm sure it wouldnt take too much to make it work. It disappoints me so much with such a great idea yet no means to carry it out without buying a Palm. maybe palm has developed the software for them and thats why it hasnt been made for anything else? i dont know but i thought it was meant to be made for windows as well.
