My board is acting weird

When I turn the angel on all it does is light blue a little bit and display what appears to be random bars (the ones that form numbers but randomly) and then it turns off...

I just charged it overnight and it weirds me out, maybe I need a new board but it's only a 2k2 :(

or maybe I just need a new lcd screen? do they even sel those seperatly?

It sounds like the board is fried. Those are the symptoms that appeared on mine when I needed to replace it. Did it look like it took the charge OK? Check with any of our sponsors for spare boards and screens to see if they have them in stock. Maybe someone else has another suggestion.

could the charger be responsible for the frying ?

it started charging fine but I wasn't the one to unplug it :(

I've never had a charger go bad, so I don't know what kind of damage it would do to the battery or board. Try to run a search on it or someone else might know something about it. When my board was fried it looked like it was taking a charge, but then would stop. That's why I was asking if it was taking a good charge.

that happened to my brother's ir3 while charging as well, fried board, not sure how this is caused
