dye angels are ironmen angels, they all have the jewel spot milled into them, most people have lost the logo, because it isnt very sticky and its large, so it falls out easy. Both my dye's have lost their jewels. Also, there were about 100-200 of each color made (cobalt blue/iron, red, and black)

Actually Dye says only 80 of them were made because they were making little to no money on them because WDP were selling the bodys to them at an Outragous price.

That makes more sense. I didnt think that 100-200 of them were made because they are relatively rare guns.

actually you are wrong, there was 100-200 of each main color made, the fade, dark blue, and clear were not marketed by dye, they were special runs for different teams, dark blue was for the family. Also, if you dont believe me, i suggest calling dye and asking how many of each color were made- Also, they were not made any more because of what someone said above, except a lil more detailed, cobra was getting charged about 700 dollars less for their angels, and dye knew about it, they were making no money while cobra was, and that upset them. A reputable company like dye should pay less, because they are actually marketing the angel much better than a company like cobra

Even more rare than that, my team practices against a guy with a orange/clear fade Dye angel /w the Free Flow mod. Not that it makes it any better, but I can honestly say that while I've seen a few Dye Angels in my time, his is truly one of a kind. To me, it's not about which model you own, 'cause I've shot them all. It's how you make your model special hehe. Everyone has their own idea on what their gun should look like, it's a shame that milling and ano can't be cheeper, 'cause to me a custom gun is a really cool creative outlet.

yeah dude, but there is something different about a dye angel, they dont shoot like stock angels or even other custom lcds. For some reason they are just ON, they shoot so straight, so fast, and they just look so damn good while filling the dead box. Honestly, both my dye angels have put a smile on my face at least once a day during practice. Its soooooo worth buying one

The Dark Blue is not a just special run for the Family, and neither are any of the other colors. I bought my dark blue one at the Vegas Open a little over a year ago! But there were about 100 made of each color, most of which were distributed to teams such as Ironmen, Family, etc..... This gun rips!!!!! If you can get hold of one, it's well worth it!

BTW, I was under the impression that they ran 20 of each color before they called it quits, so that is 120 Dye Angels....

The Izon and the high rise were from the previous owner.... It now has a black Dye low-rise and sight rail....

I just got my DYE Angel last week. It is my dream gun. I'm still in the awe phase. Pictures of this gun does it no justice, you have to hold it, see it in person, and play with it in order to feel what us DYE Angel owners feel. I seriously bought the exact DYE Angel that I wanted. It's black, with UL barrel, and oh so cool looking. And to think I almost traded my Matrix for Mycallbumbum's Angel. The one I have looks a lot better :tongue:

I think if DYE started to make Angels again, they'd make a lot more business than they did before. A lot more players now are spending lots of money on their guns. Anyways, I have a DYE Angel!!!!

I have MycallBumBum's Angel now..... the feed threads are stripped but it is fixable at Docsmachine or a lil JB Weld will do the trick too...... he included lots of cash to fix everything on it..... I traded my EvoX for it......

It's a lil more blue than the pics look but I'm gonna have the body, asa, and reg done in dark pewter polish.....

To me it's just equipment, not a trophy..... lol.... I used to be like that, but I just kept spending and spending and spending.....

I'm glad I didn't end up getting his Angel. The one I got now is far better (no offense). It's black, and in perfect condition :tongue: It had about 28k on the shot counter too, so I'd say it's very nice. Only thing though, didn't BumBum include all these accessories like barrels and stuff?

Yeah, a whole bunch of accessories that I sold..... lol.....

I sold the 2 Boomies for about a $100, and I traded the rest of the stuff for a Spyder AMG with Freak, 2tips, and 3 inserts, that I'm selling for $200..... (if it ever gets here).....

So 90+100+200 = $390 I made..... and all I have to do is get a $20 insert..... It has a high counter too.... but for all that cash, I couldn't care less.....

Dyes are most definatly my top 3 of the most amazing looking guns ever. I love the pewter and orange to clear fade ones. A guy around here has an oragne to clear and its drop dead freakin gorgeous. I love it.

I agree. Let me tell you this, the DYE Angels are by far the best looking LCD Angels ever! I'm on the look out for an IR3 though, because they are B to the A.

Not on all DYE LCD's. I think you can only do that on the DYE Turbo Triggers. I heard something about them being made wrong or whatever and it fits on backwards.
