What is the best bolt for the speed. I'm debating over the dye or the evil!:puzzled:

dye and evil make a bolt for ir3/speed? i thought they were only LCD

Keep the stock bolt. The only thing that could possibly be better is a DEZ bolt, and that's 67$. Keep the stock bolt, you probably won't notice a difference.

I agree with Skel, last I heard the stock Speed bolt was a *coughs* knockoff R11 bolt. So another aftermarket won't make much of a performance increase.

yeah it's just like the r11, it utiliuzes the same type of open face design, just keep the stock

Now I am a die-hard DEZigns bolt fan, but the stock bolt is just about the best stock bolt on any marker out there. Keep it.

yea man if you have already put some paint through the gun dont change it. it will be bad on the bolt and gun until you put like twice as much paint through.
cauze the stock bolt makes its own custom groove pattern inside the breech and when you change it, it has to re-make the grooves on itself and in the breech resulting in more shaves off of the breech which means more space that isnt coverd. which ultimatley means less accuracy less consistancy and more air usage.

but if you change it before you use it or with like lets say 500paint through it, it would be ok but, it wouldnt be much different. if i got a new bolt i would get what is in the stock ir3 and LCD it rocks!

i love the stock bolt, i love all the stock parts on this gun, even the barrel, it shoots so good i havent even bothered taking my freak off my lcd and shoot it.

left handed pop shots, i could never do it with my lcd, was doing it all day today! well actualyl hitting someone that is

sell the impy, get a good tank, or a set of barrels and keep the rest of the cash...

ive had 3 very upgraded impulses, and i can honestly say they dont even come close to how sweet my speed is stock.

my angel freak has been sitting in my bag for a week now unused on my speed.
