what do you guys do to reduce the side play on the triggers? I folded a slip of paper and put it on the side of one side of the trigger. It has significantly less side play but its still noticable. Just wondering what you guys do if you guys do anything at all?

be careful w/ that paper in there that its not to tight or the trigger pull may seem a little stiff :)

personally, i just live with it :) you don't really notice it most of the time, cause my fingers don't move sideways

heh, i know, i can't sneak a 3rd slip of paper in there, other wise it gets too stiff, 2 slips is still a little loose but better than nothing.
Well, sure you could just live iwth it, but you paid near or over a grand for an Angel, and isn't an Angel known for it's super ultra fast trigger? I jsut feel a little ripped off for paying $1100 (got mine before price drop :-/) and having some major slide play.

but i dont wanna spend 40 bux
Do Flys have better triggers than just basic LCDs?
i tried this dude's 2k1 FLY with a stock trigger and it had WAY less side play than my basic 2k1 LCD.

Apparently you can't any longer. I Wrote Impact and here's what I got back.
"I am very sorry but we are currently sold out of our LCD triggers and do not have plans on making any more as we are focusing our efforts on IR3's. Thanks for your interest and sorry again.

What about the Eclipse? They're not that much from g3. I got a Blade for my Imp and it was great. Took out all side-to-side. Anybody tried one?

I've heard differing opinions on the Blades...some good some bad..
Not to many fingers have the capability to go precisely straight forward and straight back. A little side to side play makes the pull slightly diagonal which isn't a bad thing.
There are teflon or mylar washers that you can put in to pick up some of the play instead of paper. (just a suggested substitute for paper not a recommendation).
Problems with too little side to side play in trigger: If during play you dive into a bunker and sand gets between the trigger and frame. If the fit is too well, the trigger will bind, rendering you useless as a functioning shooter.

Adrenalin had a shim kit to reduce this "free play".
