can an egg I be fitted with egg II parts?

i'm sure this question has been asked a long long time ago, but are but can the evo II parts be used in the evo I?? i.e. are the raceways the same?? i have an old egg and wanna see if i can upgrade it. thanks.

i dont know if this answers your question, but BE has not yet come out with a drop in Y-board like they did with the X-board

the parts i want to swap out are the impellar and the raceway, since the egg I raceway doesn't allow the egg to be flat like the egg II.
