View Full Version : Is your Halo freaking out? If so, please read...

This is an update to an earlier post I had about a month ago, I just now actually fixed the problem. Basically my halo was trying to feed when there wasn't any ball movement. I determined that sunlight was causing this. (If you have any doubt, block the sensor with something then run a flashlight back and forth across it.

Anyways, the fix that odyssey reccomended was adjusting the petentiometer... while that kinda worked, it didn't really solve the problem. The best fix (that I've found) to it is simply taking the halo apart, then wrapping electrical tape around the sensor leads (in the feed neck... thingy; the blue part). After I did this, it passed the flashlight test. I haven't gotten a chance to actually field test it, but everything appears to work ok.

So if you have a translucent shell and experience similiar probs, try it out.

same thign with some clear evo 2's i electrical taped my cousins eyes and it works great now
