View Full Version : Over pressure -> broken LPR?

Well I started to fill up an angel air tank with the screw all the way out. I pushed the button to see how much was in the tank (about 1500psi) then pushed it again and HI-P was being put out. The angel air had blown and it was putting 850psi into the speed SINGEL REGED. Soon after the little red seal blew.

Now another AIR tank was put on and the proper out-put was set (this tank was on this gun before and it was +- 2fps). For some reason the gun is shooting less consistant then it did before with this tank.

Whould the high pressure from the old tank possiably blow the LPR... or at least mash it enough to cause this inconsistency?

The same paint was being used with the same barrel the whole time.

put on the LPR gauge and take a coupel shots , note the pressure and recharge as well. Thats all i can really think of?

But i do know 850 on a speed is bad news. Avererage angel runs liek 300 -400 psi into the gun single regged and thats an HP angel... imagine what 850 psi would do for a gun that is supposed to run on 300 PSI double regged :-/

why dont you just bring it to Premium after all there are angel techs there....

good luck.

well angel air's are not supposed to put out that much, they have a safety that will make it bleed if it gets so high, and you say you still had your minireg on, well i'm not sure at all but wouldnt it have with held some of the pressure? anyways yea check your lpr and let us know
