All new Angel markers should come ASTM locked from the factory.

Don't do any jumper-wire patents, get the data link. 90 bucks is the price for the tool required. If there's a bunch of Angel players in your team or at the local field, maybe you can arrange to buy it together to cut down the costs?


(Sorry about the following rant, this doesn't have much to do with the above posting) Sometimes there just isn't another way but to use proper tools. For example, removing a feedneck without a heating tool to loosen the loctite, adjusting a LPR without a proper pressure testing gauge, greasing marker internals with the first "lubricant" that happens to be nearby (like toothpaste), replacing blown seals and o-rings with teflon tape patents etc...

Funniest thing is, the markers that get ghetto-fixed by the most ingenious use of household tools cost their owners quite a pile of cash in the first place, so proper tools and replacement parts shouldn't be that much. You want to have the best and safest tools possible for that quite valuable investment?
