you should be able to run whatever kind of gas line you want...i have a microline set up on mine, so you shouldn't have a problem getting the macoline fitting off.

actually, this is where i had my problem with WDP putting their strongest loctite on...it took vise grips and my dad to get the damn macro fitting off...
maybe it will be easier for you, but it is possible

what do you suggest I do without messing up the purrty anno job? I tryed a strap wrench. I cant tell if i have been tightening it, or it is just tight. Which way do I turn it the regular way? like I am looking from back to front and turning.......counter clockwise?

I used a wrench about the size of that indent on the mini reg, with a few layers of paper towel to cushion it. The fitting itself did end up getting scarred, but you won't be using it anyways.

Hey thanks for all the help I eventually got it with a litle tugging and what not, thought I was going to break it off, but it came out pretty clean.

I have used the following method for years with my Min regs.
use a 1 1/2 inch strip oof duct tape about 5 feet long and wrap the barrel of the mini. Then use whatever wrench you wish (I tend to use Robo grips) and the correct wrench for the fitting. I scarred the hell out of the fitting on my Speed as well but the Mini is as new.
