when i open my breach, i see that the bolt has worn down a spot under my feed. I wasn't concerned at first, but today I was playing and my bolt would periodically get jammed in the forward position. I can only assume that the bolt is leaving the breach off center causing it to rub and now stick forward. I have owned several markers and have noticed this rubbing on lower end markers but I figured that my $1000 marker would not experience this. The bolt is stock if that helps. Any suggestions on what is causing it or how to fix it?

If it is delrin and you are lubeing it then it is swollen up on you and you will need to get a new bolt. If that is not it then you may have a burr or something on the inside of your breach. Fell down there and see if there is any uneven spots that may be causing this.

Billlybob is right. Sand and debris can cause burrs which lead to sticking...sometimes... Try putting the bolt into the chamber with the breech rolled back. You can then determine exactly at what point the bolt is sticking. If it is tight right from the start, truely it may be swollen.

it could also be a prob with your valve and valve guide, sometimes the valve gets a little ruff and it will stick foward, thats what could cause the sticking. and that in turn could cauze the wearing down of the place
