Well I was lookin around on the Angel Owners part of automags.org and came upon something interesting. They were talking about setting your trigger so it has the longest pull possible, and then putting the TOE right at the very front of your pull. I was like, bleh, sounds like it wont work to me, but after hearing that TAG, his son, their team, and a lot of pros with electros had their triggers this way, I thought I'd try it. So, I did, and...WOW! I made my pull as long as possible and put the TOE right at the very very very front of the pull, and man does it RIP! It's really easy to sustain high ROF for a long time. Try it, tell me how you like it.

sounds interesting...sure its not mostly bounce? i know that happens when ur toe is in the front of ur pull. what types of rof r u gettin?

no this is with no air... im getting the first red bar without even walking...easily all the way to top of the red with walking, MROF is 22bps. but its not necessarily FASTER just EASIER to pull fast and maintain that hightened speed.

you can get it to bounce, yes, and with sensi it can bounce so fast that we've gotten numbers over 25 bps on the chrono. It's absolutely insane.

What I do is something similar, just not TOO long of a pull, and I set my TOE as close to the beginning of the bull I can get without bounce and it's still insanely fast but legal.

See this pic?

That was me today when I had my trigger set up like that. The bounce was so insane that it was firing after I took my finger off the trigger. Notice the line of pink in my bunker. Yeah that was me. After that game I adjusted it back and I had control over my trigger again. So in other words, TEST THIS before you go out and play at some event or something. You will likely get pulled.

how is the screws set on the trigger?are the two top screwed in all the way and then the TOE as well?

nothing is "screwed in all the way". You just need to make the pull long and put the TOE up at the front to get the bounce. It's really simple. Key to getting the true bounce though is having Sensi on. That 30 bps cap makes it bounce like nuts.

I just made my pull like 5mm long and I have the toe adjustment so by even touching the trigger it fires. I'm out of air now but I'm going out to play this afternoon I'll post how it works for me.

Ooh... That can be bad. I had my trigger set up real soft too and I ended up paying for it. I'm a pretty physical player... Running into bunkers, diving, sliding. And when you got a real sensitive trigger like that, it can be real bad new. I almost shot my best friends a couple of time as we went running across the field and slamming up against the side of a bunker at almost the same exact time. The gun went off and we both got some nice gog-spray action going. We where using Chronic too... If you've ever used this stuff, you know it's no joke.

learn to play without the bounce.

So you are saying to have a super short front travel and a 2-3MM over travel???

I had mine like that... i think i like the activation point a little more towards the center.

Like 6-7mm over travel. Make the trigger pull as long as possible and put TOE RIGHT at the front. I'm not bouncing... And its sooooo easy to rip and keep ripping. (I don't have any air, so I'm def. not bouncing)

soon as you put some paint in it it'll probably bounce like hell, clipse

i dont understand; you keep saying that you can get the up to the red bar that is 22bps, with sensi on, its 30bps, why are you in non-sensi mode?

I just got to play with my Speed and wow. I know what he is talking about. I was walking the trigger when all of a sudden the gun just took off. It was almost as if IT went FULL auto. So yes , it hit bounce. I just can't hit it all the time.

MY IR3 does not do that!

Hmm.. it didnt work for me but i just made it as short as possible and adjusted the toe so that it would fire and i could rip. The one thing that is annoying though is sometimes the trigger return spring (the boards leaf in this case) isnt strong enough to push the trigger back or something so if you get it to short you have to like manually push the trigger back and forth. Its weird. I wish i could get it shorter but this dilemma stops me. if any of you have a way to prevent this then post here.

try bending the opto leaf out just a little, this will increase the tension applied to the trigger stop (TOE)..

you seriously don't want your speed trigger that short. the longer I made it the faster I got (to a certain point). this has been the experience of everyone that I have ran into.

It's more about where the firing point is compared to the actual length of the trigger.
