View Full Version : Why ?
I was at Playin the chicago PSP this weekend tryin out my new speed .i just got it and really havent gotten to mess with it very much.
I set the trigger real short put it in mode 2 on the sensi an went to the chrono. I shot twice then the gun just goes off and starts shootin itsself. I think dang how can that be legal so i go play with it.
When the chrono judge shoots it.It fires just like in semi for the first 3 games on the dye feild but while im playin its shootin by itself, i almost blow a judges hand off, almost shoot my own player and almot shoot myself in the foot when i close the lid on my halo(20 bps at your foot isnt cool ).
Then i guess someone on the other team must have alerted the judges to my gun because the were on a head huntin mission trying to find me and they did the chrone judge grabs it up chronos it once twice three four five shots over the chrono .Then right after the last shot he starts to chrono the 6 ball and it just start blastin in the cone prolly 18 bps !( needless to say i didnt get to use my gun that game)
Now my question WHy would WDP put such a mode on a tornament level marker?Once the word gets out the Speed will prolly be banned because theres no way to lock mode
two out .
DONT GET ME WRONG ITS INSANELY FAST BUT IT AIN LEGAL !

Its called "Trigger Bounce", where the gun fires off of the recoil from each shot because the trigger is too short. Make your pull longer.

Yep:) Use the toe adjustment and make the actuation point more toward the middle of the pull so that you have more of a cushion from the vibration of the recoil of the marker.
YEP i know all about trigger bounce but this is differentthe trigger isnt real short but ill move it see if it stops i have seen another speed go off and it had a stock pull

ha ha ha ha ha I laugh at your self inflicted misfortune. why would would you turn your gun on your foot, or your team mate, while it was shooting? you are a silly boy/man/woman.

he said he shot his foot after he hit the lid on the halo shut, so that made it shoot, and like he's saying it's uncontrollable so he probably just turned to his player and it started shooting

the same thing happend to me only i shot some kid like 20 times by accident wen i was bunkering him .....also wen i am tryingg to walk the trigger alot of the times that i hit the trigger fsat it will not reigster it seems, and then out of nowhere it will go full auto
sorry i a,most shot my foot and almost shot my own player YOU should have seen him dancin with 20 bps at his feet
Weird thing is, people complain about this bounce issue and the gun never chops. That never ceases to amaze me.

yea that is pretty wierd huh... At least we know sensi works :-).
The modes on the speed have nothing to do with how it fires CHOP. They are just different settings for sensi that are used for different hoppers. They have nothing to do with firing modes...
And it doesn't matter how short the trigger is - the TOE adjustment makes the mad bounce. You gotta back that out a tad...
Im gonna change the trigger around some anyway ill werk with it and see how it ends up thanx.
i am also having volecity problem with the wdwell in the first yellow light .should i up it one more and lower my pressure for fps to see if it will smooth out
Once WDP's volumizers are available for retail, I beleive that (volumizers) will reduce the kick of the marker, and you will be able to adjust the trigger any way you like.

Just turn sensi off when a judge checks your gun and they will never know

i dont see how sensi being off would prevent trigger bounce, unless you had MROF set at like 3
Sensi has a big part in the trigger bounce.

oh ok. Is there an explanation though?

it doesnt really sound like it makes any sense at all badger, but i had the same problem, with sensi off i didnt get the insane bounce. When sensi was on the thing went wild. Magnets in the trigger seemed to help a little but havent got it perfect yet.

Maybe something to do with the MROF being 30bps with Sensi on, rather than a MEAGER 22 (hehe) bps with it off. So the gun's basically like, "I can shoot faster, so I will."

how are the volumizers going to reduce kick? i'm confused?
lower pressure= less agressive internal movements. Note that I said " I believe, not I'm positive.
