How are people setting up their speeds triggers?

I have mine with about a 2mm pull, then fire then 2mm more.

But the problem is, once I start firing, I guess I have some recoil because it will just start going full auto! Which is not cool.

this is happening on sensi mode 1, and it starts shooting so fast that is breaks paint in the barrel, it's pretty crazy.

Any ideas?

You mean sensi mode 2? You shouldn't chop in mode one. If you are, your sensi rod needs to be clean, and/or you need to calibrate it before you start ripping. Backing out the TOE screw will eliminate the full auto effect.

I'll take it all down and lengthen my trigger I guess and see how that works. The thing is, I had my trigger setup the same way I had it on my lcd, and I loved it! Now I have to set it up longer. and that sucks!

Here is how I did it. I set it until it had mad bounce... then I adjusted the Toe until it stopped going full auto. I had a nice fast tight gun that was still legal and safe... :)

yeah, but my problem is it only goes full auto with paint. it doesn't do it just dry fireing, so that would get expensive!

I tinkered with the trigger and used sensi mode 2...works like a charm now! You just can't have super short triggers I guess I dunno. I have it set longer than my lcd, but I get the same rof, so it rally doesn't matter to me! But it rips and no breaky paint!

i wouldnt say that u cant have super short trigger pulls, mine is alot less than a mm and i get no bounce. The optoboard plate on some speeds is bent a little to much and that can cause trigger bounce

it only goes ful lauto with paint? thats odd... back it off a tiny bit... or what you could do is shoot it with just air? huh.. .loc-tite it when you are done adjuting the trigger.. you'll be glad you did, blue loctite only

I've never heard of any speeds going full auto without paint... You don't need to elongate your trigger pull to stop the "full auto" effect, only back out the TOE screw.
