What with the Check It lowrises now being non-existant on EBay, I noticed skullpaintball@hotmail.com has a bunch of auctions selling clamping Angel lowrises. Does anyone have one of these? Do they work? ARE they the Check It ones? Example auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3613467062&category=36285

Or how about A+ Paintball's lowrises (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3613800781&category=36285)? Anyone have experience with them? Do the dust colors match the Speed's dust colors?

Thanks!

I have the skull paintball one. It seems to work fine. It's a lot lower than the stock gated feed. I don't know if it's made by checkit.

yeah I have the same one here, but I thought it was made by check-it. doesn't matter really, it is still nice.

I had a silver one from skull using a eggII, it works SO SWEET! I just ordered a black dust from A+ for my black speed. Same neck, but in black. Use them they rock!

I heard they were the same thing?

And im glad to hear that iridea, because I heard it was bad to use lowrises with a chopped down egg because of feeding issues

I had the skull one on my ir3, they work pretty good, I am partial to clamping rises with a collar and screw to tighten them though.

so with that screw feed you lose your gated feed, have you guys suffered at all without it? (I know I know, its just a paper ring but still, it works!)

I havent at all. The only possibility is if you go to bunker someone and you tilt your gun a lot then it could dryfire but the chances are low. It has caused me more hassel than help. Once a friend emptied the balls and was dryfiring and one ball was sitting on the gated feed and didnt fall through. Then all of a sudden it decided to fall through and my friend had a messy barrel bag to clean.

I honestly think that the gated feed does nothing for you but slow balls down. I took mine out the first night. I dont want something to slow me down when I am shooting. I have a egg2 so that should keep adequate pressure on the balls and keep them down.

I removed my gated feed the first night also. I noticed if I dropped a single ball in the feed neck it stuck on the gated feed. My egg2 will overcome this, but what about the last few balls? They will hang and lead to dry firing. No thanks, I'll just take my chances when my gun is tilted.
That big hopper sticking up an extra inch or so will get hit more often. May not be a noticable difference, but a low rise seems like a good idea to me, especially with an egg or halo.

I beleive the gated feed is supposed to have to have the pressure of a couple of balls to force them down
