code 4 ???

ok hope someone knows about this...
i have a 2k c&c lcd working fine last week.today i palyed psp,
chicago open. get there and the gun will gas up, turn on,go live fire 3-10 shots go back to safe. scrolling though i get a fault. which is code 4 = under temp(ambient temp to low)
scroll back to the temp and all you get is 3 lines.

that is very odd.. it seems to be similar to the glitch found in some IR3's.. all i can think of is this... how old is the gun and how long has it been since you charged it? thats all i can think of.. run a search and see if you can find anyhting similar to this on our site...

that's a thermal fault and requires a board swap, seems to be the most common board problem with lcd's

if its a series 1, but if its series 2 it will only be 25$. But seeing how his is a 2k it will proally be 75$

thanks all i took it to chicago open and talk to the main tech there and thats what he said to sooo its getting fix now.just sucks i didnt get to use it then...first problem ever ho well 3yr old and thus not bad.

what year did they put series 2 in lcd? dumb question but not sure, thx

the guy who onwed it before me owned a store so im sure its has been upgraded to the max.knowing my luck its the $75 one.

i have another ? for ya all...
can i swap it with a speed or ir3 board?
