My switch is going in my 2k1 LCD. Sometimes it thinks it should fire when I release the trigger, kinda cool, but definitely not legal in the tourneys I play.

My question is can I just solder on a new switch, or do I need a whole new board?

Just be safe, get a new board for like $25 because if you alter the board or anything (soldering counts) and it breaks they will charge you I think $150 for damaging it to get a new board.

Yeah, mine is doing the same thing, but only once in awhile. How many shots can they get on them before they go bad?

there's no real set number for them to go bad

i agree with goryevilkitty, if you mess with the board it will void the warranty so better not to

sounds to me like you all just have trigger bounce, just reset your trigger and it wont cost you a penny
