My gun has always been good about not chopping. But lately it has chopped the very first shot in a string or if i am just shooting one shot, then all the rest are fine. It doesnt do it all of the time just enough to be annoying.

I am thinking it has somthing to do with the ball detent?

Or is it because i need to clean out and check my LPR?

Maybe somthing to do with my hooper being intellifeed and only turning every two shots per second?

Or somthing else?

little bit of help understanding this would be much appreciated.

If its just the first shot, that rules out your hopper. Ball detent is possible. But I'd say that your lpr is creeping up. Check your pressure, let it sit with the gage in for a few minutes and see if its higher.
