I was wondering, Where did hte 14 way get its name?

I think it has to do with it being a fancy 4 way. With more openings or something.

It IS a solinoid, but WDP changed its name to 14-way so SP wouldnt sue them I think.

why did they pick 14 way and not 13 way or 12 way or even 15 way?

I think its a 2 way valve, with 7 air passages for each side. Hey, its a theory.

i heard it was because on a parts list it was supposed to say 1 - 4 way valve but due to a typo it was 14 way valve

It is a 2 way passage w/ 7 differant openings on each side. They switch which one opens each shot for some reason.

they switch so that the other has a little more time to get the air to it, therefore there would be less shoot down in rapid fire
