Hey Jason any signs of that crazy sniper running around in your neck of the woods?? And to think we thought we had it bad with the West Nile Virus.

Ya that is some pretty messed up stuff, its crazy here in columbus also, theres this rapist on Ohio State campus and hes starting to get worse and worse as the rapes get closer together, he started out just following girls around, then he started raping them, then he started raping them and caryying a knife, they are afraid to see what this guy is going to do next. They cant seem to catch him either. He did strike tihs weekend but the girl fought him off and he ran away. So its getting interesting.

those bullets the sniper are using my dad was telling me about.

He said that you can make them by hashing the end of the bullet with a knife or somthing like that, and he said that that might have been how the kid got mutiple organs damaged.

IMO though, this guys gotta be off his meds. The thing that i want to know is, how did he get a sniper rifle, along with hi power sniper bullets with out some one getting his ID, I'm 13 so i can kinda relate to that kid, he was probably just chillin and all of a sudden had a nice hole in him. Its a sad day when people just want to pick off kids at random just because they want to.

I live in the DC area where all this is happening and lemme tell ya, its pretty scary. This sick guy goes out and shoots an inocent person almost everyday. And with the 13 year old kid, i'm guessing it was around 8 that it happened. This guy must have gotten up at like 5 AM to get all his stuff ready and to hide in the woods, so he goes through alot of trouble for what? Some publicity? And with the Torot(sp?) card thing, trying to immate WWII snipers or is he really a WWII veterin? It's hard to imagine a 70 year old guy running around killing people so IMO this guy is trying to grab some attention. I was watching CNN one morning and John Walsh (America's Most Wanted host) was talking about the snipper. He was saying how the snipper watches TV, and reads newspapers just like us so what we know he knows and he will plot around the obsticals that will help catch him. He was also saying how a while back like a few years ago, some guy also went on a shooting spree in some other state (I think Navada) and he was never caught be he stopped. If you think about it really, it's going to be hard to find this guy. He hides in the woods and takes one shot and leaves at an abrbitrary location so it will be really hard for the officals to catch him. Recently i think they have a suspect so we'll see. I hope this guy gets smaked by the hammer of justice soon.

Give you an idea of what type of heat he might be carrying, AR-15's can and Min-14's do come chambered in .223

Those can be considered combat weapons, not plain' old hunting rifles.

wll a .223 is a very strong bullet its used for hunting and such so he know what hes doing. i believe he is an al quida cell or sumthin cuase they said he was usin a AK-74 which is a russian weapon and are very easy to obtain in the middle east so i believe he is a sleeping cell my opinion tho

There's no way he\she could plead insanity. Doing what he\she is doing is premeditated... meaning he\she is thinking all the details through. Plus he\she has done it multiple times...

This person is going to be put to death once caught... or die during a gun fight with authorities.

I dont even think they should catch him... they should find out hwo it is wait til he setups to do it again and kill him the same way he kills others. If they catch him he will sit in jail 10 years before anything ever happens.

With the way court systems are he will live for a while if he/she is ever caught. Remeber Timothy McVae he finally got executed this year, I think its been so long. And that was what 6 years ago? BTW he was incarcerated and executed about an hour from my crib in Terre Haute IN. Just goes to show how the court systems work. Even though it took a while for the Feds to prove he was guilty its not gonna happen quickly. The only way he/she will die a short death is on a stand off or if they catch that person in the act and they draw a firearm on the law enforcement. My prayers go out to all the victims and hope my bruthas (paintball) and everyone else up that way are safe.

Yea he did. He shot someone in Ashland, VA. That is 15mins. from me, so it kind of sucks. I hope he doesn't come to Richmond. 95 was backed up for hours. There was this one picture you could see the same truck that had not moved for 2-3 hours, sucks for the people on 95.

Man his crazy @ss struck again this morning. Shot a bus driver in the chest.

A bus driver just got shot while he was filling out his paperwork at 6 am. He's dead.

The sniper left behind a note that said that he would be targeting children next.

What does this guy want? This is getting crazy. I thought that this guy would have been caught a long time ago. I don't know how people aren't seeing this guy.

The bullet he's using is actually quite small. The size .223 was originally designed for shooting varmints like ground hogs, foxes, etc. It's generally very accurate and doesn't drop very quickly. It's made for shooting a long distance. And is a hollow point bullet which mushrooms out on impact, and creates several sharp little "fingers" that cut and mangle as the bullet flies through its target.

Hmmm. I'm not sure. This isn't really a terrorists style. Terrorists usually stick with explosions, and suicide bombings.

There are several other cases of Snipers like this in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I think that this is just another case of some psycho guy that gets a thrill out of "being God", and selecting who lives and who dies.

Terrorists for the most part like big shows, they also like to take credit for what they do and do it in the name of something (as if that really justifies anything). I would have to agree with 2theMaxx21 on the psych profile for now. I see this as someone who is generally ignored and undermined, so now he/she has decided that people will pay attention. Probably a recluse with little social interaction and no people skills. Like a night shift janitor or something. Spreading out the times of the killings was smart though...harder to nail down. I think the person hold a job that he/she can leave and go unnoticed for hours as to have an alibi. Just my theory, what do I know anyway...

LOL "high powered sniper bullets"... there is no such thing, he is using "varmit rounds", the lead bullet is the size of a .22, and the shell is a bit bigger, the civilian version on the 5.56 NATO round. And the guy just has a rifle with a scope, come on guys, lol

Not trying to be mean, but, use common sence, those fools in al-Queda are not that patient, they would rather use chem warfare or nuclear warfare (if they have the components). It's too bad that "cruel and unusual punishment" includes shooting those guys with their own gun, starting at their feet and moving up their body.

I don't think that dying by lethal injection is real justice. Isn't that the way that everybody wants to die? Fall asleep, never wake up, and not feel a thing.

Highly doubt they will be executed anytime soon though. Court systems and due proccess take forever. Think about it Timothy Mcvay killed hundreds and was just executed a year ago and did his bombing 6 years ago. These snipers only killed 10 and wounded 3. So yeah we can only wish some prisoners will take care of them on the inside.

I agree that the courts can take a while. But I think the evidence in this case is pretty plain to see. They have the gun in the back of their car. It matches the ballistics of the bullets in the victims. They have a hole cut in the trunk of the car for shooting through. And one of them left finger prints at the scene of a shooting in Alabama. And I'm sure that a lot more evidence will quickly show up.

I don't think the Defense attorneys will even try to discount the obvious evidence. They will probably just try to keep them from getting the death penalty.

It took a lot more investigation in the Timothy McVeigh case, than it will take for this one. But this case will probably take longer than most people expect.

You're wrong my friend. He became a Muslim 14 years ago, and changed his last name to Mohammad a year ago. You don't have to live in the middle east to be a muslim. Just like Christians don't have to live in Israel to be a Christian. You become a muslim when you accept their doctrine, perform their rituals, and change the way you live.

Changing your name to Mohammad is like taking a deeper step into Islam and becoming more devoted. Islam believes that Mohammad was a prophet of Ala, their god.

If you do some research, you will find that the man Mohammad was a very violent and perverse man. Which explains why so many muslims have such extreme views, and take crazy actions.

The Koran (the Muslim Bible) actually states in it that anyone who is not a Muslim is an enemy, and deserves to be killed. And anyone who dies as a marter for the cause of Islam goes straight to Heaven to be with 7 virgins. Which explains why there are so many Muslim suicide bombers. And that is not just my interpretation of their scripture.

I find it really alarming how many Muslims are out there. In fact, it's one of the fastest growing religions in America.

I don't mean to offend any Muslims that might read this, but facts are facts. Just look at all of the horrible acts and murders that have been commited in the name of Ala or Mohammad. Watch the news and you'll see that there are suicide bombings every week in the Middle East, mainly in Israel.

The reason that there is so much fighting in the Middle East is basically over the ownership of Israel. It goes back thousands of years to Abraham. (Remember the song "Father Abraham" from Sunday School?) Abraham was a very rich and blessed man. He owned all of the land which we now call the country of Israel. He had two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. The Jews decended from Isaac, and the Arabs decended from Ishmael. And when Abraham died, he left all of the land (Israel) to Isaac. So of course all the decendents of Ishmael got mad and claimed that the land was given Ishmael. And the arguing and fighting goes on today. They are arguing over who owns Israel, mainly the "Holy Cities" like Jerusalem, the Gaza strip, and all of the West bank.

If you didn't know before, now you know why there is so much fighting in Israel and the surrounding areas.
