if you do use a squeegee, will it hurt the cops sensor? do you need a specific squeegee? (like a furry one?) thanks!

Done both. Depends on the situation. Obviously, you don't have time for a detailed cleaning at the field so the CAREFUL use of a battle swap works until you have the time to disassemble the gun a do it right.

lol uhh... im just scared too lol so if i were to just take it home and "take it apart"... how would i do that? would i just open the breach and take a q tip to it?

take off your barrrel and hopper to get them out of the way. open the breach and get busy. Then to check your work hold the gun up to a light so light enters where the barrel would be screwed in and check for paint.

what i do is use a barrel swab and pas it as light as possible over the sensor, and whats left over i clean with a q-tip or i blow away with those compressed air cans that are made to blow off dust

ive shoved a redz battle swab down my barrel and onto the bolt in the heat of battle and ive never hurt my cops rod on my dark ir3 the angel parts kit also comes with a extra rod if you ever do damage it

lol i think he was joking. Battle sawb shouldn't hurt it, however, I think it's the long shot that can hurt the cops rod.

err yea typo meant to say long shot...i dont really trust and a battle swab does more work and is less dangerous
