I've seen a lot of air systems attached to the IR3 don't think i've ever seen amac dev conquest used on one. I've been out of the paintball loop for about a year so I don't know if Mac Dev has gone down hill. I was wondering if I should get an 03 Conquest air system, or an 03 Armageddon. Or should I just pick up a WDP AIR. (The only reason i didn't already buy the AIR is because it seems like it may be a little more complicated and accident prone when compaired to the Conquest/Armageddon.)

All three (quest, geddon and AIR) are great tanks, its really up to you on what to get. People like the Conquest cause it's really light, others like the geddons cause American Air has really good support with their products, I like the AIR because it works really well with my angel. It's really a decision you have to make on what to get, do your homework then decide. If you asked me a couple months ago, I would be in the same situation you're in.

They're all in about the same price range too. Go with the conquest if you've had experience with them before, other wise get the air just to be able to service the whole setup at once.

I've used an "02" Conquest on my IR3 and it worked very well. I did accidentally turn it off one time though. I do like A/A systems though just for the warranty and the service.

Has everyone ruled out Max-flo? Jsut as consistant as the A.I.R. but cheaper. and the 03 model(not released yet) is the lightest dual regualator on the market. I love my max-flo, after using air numerous times, i would take my max-flo over air anyday. And did i meantion its cheaper?...lol

i use the 03 conquest and love it.

it is light as hell, which is good for my pos.

its really consistant ( i almost always get +/- 1 or 2

and compared to most adjustables, its cheap.

I have a Conquest on my Fly iR3... I really like it. Very consistant and very light. My only complaint is the on/off... hard to turn on.

My only complaint is the on/off... hard to turn on.

the 03s dont have this problem, or atleast mine doesnt, i think mac dev fixed it.

i personally shoot a 45/45 maxflo on my ir3 and it works great. it is by far the best reg i have played with, like conquest, geddon, and some others. havent got to test the air though. i think maxflos are the best bang for the buck. i dont know if i trust an electronic reg yet =/ haha

my recomendation is that you go and by your self an centerflag 420 presset (68/4500) itīs the best air system ever and itīs nearly half the price as the adjusteble air systems.
the ir3 is using a very high pressure so if you are using an presset it doesnīt matter.
then the weight on it is also an advange.

conquests are lighter than moth presets, believe me, there is a diff between high end and preset consitancy, I have an AIR and a nitro duck xstream, and a crossfire, the others can keep up pretty well but don't have that same consitancy, with my AIR I get the same reading over the chrono over and over

I got an AIR, so i guess the subject is closed, thanks though. I was always curious about how the Conquests were.

i like the nitro duck w/meg reg 90/4500. the only drawback is its a bit heavy
