I was thinking that it would be cool if i coudl get some pb's that didnt break but were the exact same weight and size as regular pbs that way i could practice snap shooting in my backyard or test out the speed of hoppers for a lot cheaper. (Dont have to by a case of paint) Then i was looking through a magazine and saw some rubber pb's. I was wondering if anyone has tried this and if so do they shoot the same as a normal pb? and do they hurt your gun at all? Are they the same weight or are they just the same size. Also if they are rubber i was thinking they might not feed near as reliable. Any info would be great. Thanks.

there are a few companies that have made various 68 caliber balls that are reuseable, can't remember websites right now, there was one place that did a weird foam ball for playing indoors and such. I think we had a thread or 2 on it a long time ago.

its called www.rufusdawg.com they make t-balls which are rubber-like paintballs, contrary to what your saying, they are very expensive, but they are reusable

if i remember correctly brass eagle made a reusable paintball, and i do believe ( to the best of my knowledge) it ranged in the 200$ range for a bag of 500.....

i dont know, its only a cocker *i dont have to worry about breaking a thousand dollar gun like u folks*

i dont think the foam would travel as good.

if you go to micheals you can custom order styrafoam balls... even .68 caliber ones...

T-balls feel like a pro baseball player hit you with a fast ball...they hurt like mad!..and if you shoot the T-balls in your house, they bounce around everywhere (from wall to wall a few times) ..its funny to see, but make sure u have your mask on and hope it doesnt hurt you....

my friend chronoed a t-ball out of his barrel when he was just blowing it (barrel to mouth) and hit 88 FPS ...

those are meant for practicing indoors, and my only reservation is this.....what does rubber do when it hits the ground? It can have tiny peices of dust or dirt sticking to it! So what if you put them all in a bucket and run water over them, you might still have a little bit on a couple of them.....I don't even want to think about what a few tiny grains of sand would to to the inside of the gun and to the finish of the barrel. (scratches all down the barrel) And so, it is a good idea but I wouldn't buy any.

Now man you have a thousand $$ marker and you are worried about buying paint??? buy a cheap case for like $30 online, and practice all day. Also badger said it best "do you really want to run dirt and sand through an electronic marker???"

Sincerely,

The jabbster

yes, they freakin hurt like crazy dude, we had a fake game of ball in bad boyz toyz once with the manager, i pretending to light him up, rippin just air, then he yanks one of the spyders off the wall, takes one of them damn tballs, and rocks one right into my leg, let me tell you, id rather get ripped up like usual practiceing against aftershock then hit by one of those again. it almost broke glass at the store, and im talking like 2-3inch thick store glass!
