oh and a question also. I really like the green chameleon grips for the IR3. Would it be possible to take off the IR3 LCD window and replace it with the speed one without damaging the grips? How would I attach the new window, superglue maybe?

grips are interchangeable , thus identical. meaning you can switch screens ( i hope you mean the cover over the display ...

yeah I do mean the display cover. But lol you guys dont get the ?. Will taking out the display cover damage the grips? If it is fused to the grip rubber will rip off with it and I wouldnt be able to attache the speed display. I just wanna know if it will just pop right out and allow me to just snap or glue in the speed one.

i took off the grip screen on my ir3 and after like 3 times, it wouldn't stay on.. there will be like some thead like substance looking like its ripping off... do not take it off, thats like a little shelf that the screen fits on or holds on too... it took off some of mine and it would fall out then... not good.. .so isuperglued it back on and it got some on my screen... not good as well... i bought new grips and it looks tight now... i got to clean the screen before it jacked up permanetly

The grips are the same. The screens are the same. There is no reason to take out the screen.

i know know what it is like to have to wait for a Speed.. i just found out my one redit card got boosted up to a mad higher credit so on it will go a Speed.. the guys at warped are going to Chicago this weekend and he is going to pick up some volumizers for me too... nice huh? but they will be coming in on thursday and i have to wait until then... and then there is the wait for a week to get to play with it...yay, small price to pay for a killer gun.. oh and i got o buy a halo on top of that... oh boy...

moogle I just though that the screen on the speed had the writing on it for dwell and sensi and such, but now I realize those are printed on the board so I will still know what LED means what. That was why I was trying to figure out if I could switch the screens.

hold, on the speeds have different chargers. their alot thinner than other angels. wouldnt that effect the grip. i mean the cover wouldnt fit?

yeah i just went the debt and max out credit cards route... it orks well, then i sell tons of stuff on ebay and make most of the cash back.... so hopefully all my stuff will sell for me, it all ends tomorrow, mostly guitar/ bass stuff.

I get mine on monday too by the way.....I wanted to pick it up from the UPS place myself tomorrow so I could use it on Sunday, but the stupid UPS won't allow it....so I get it on monday and have to wait till next weekend to play.
