this might not belong in this speed category but here it goes. are the eggs (evo 2s) uncomftorable on the speeds? they look like they stick out to far. i really am considering buying an egg and want to know how they are (not preformance wise) has anyone had problems with the speed and egg together?

Comfort wise it all depends. If you are using a medium to large drop, the evo 2 does get in the way. If you are using a small or no drop and all, it should be plenty far away. These are just my experiences with it on my friends guns and mine.

personally, i love my Evo II on my Speed. i havent had any issues with it at all, besides the whole having to sand the feed neck down. but hey, in the end it is worth it.

ill be using no drop. how does the weight balance out with most of the loader being behind the feed neck, and also is in NECESSARY to sand the feed neck?

Yes you will have to sand the feed neck. This is a GOOD thing. This means you can stop and make sure you have the perfect fit.

I find the EVO balances out my angel nicely. I like it more then the revs I have had on my gun before...

i dont use a drop on my speed and i use a yboard egg2. i think it has the PERFECT balance and feel. it feels more balanced than when i was running a revvy on my ir3 with the same no-drop setup. well... i had a check-it unimount. not really a drop, just a pimp asa that feels soo comfy. anyways, it balances really well and actually with the way the egg2 sits, it allows you to stay a bit more tucked in when snap shooting. if you have similar taste as me as to not run a drop im sure you will think its a super comfy setup.

i think a major factor of why it is balance is because the Evo II is set back farther...

i used to use that same exact setup when i had my evo 2. It feels really comfortable that a way. You don't have to sand down the feedneck if you get a kapp rise (low or high), i've seen people just stick them in the rise w/out sanding them.

Evo2 Yboard 68 / 4500 geddon rail only feels like a dream. Now I have been running a 14 inch cobra barrel but now I will try it with my 18 inch ul.
