Paintball Maxx Milling

I just got back from giving paintball Maxx my CNC IR3 to Mill, i left every thing up to him...emmit i hope it turns out well, ill have to show it to you some day.

Brad Nestle is an AGD Certified Top Tech. AGD flies him to all the big events to work their booth. Brad has done really nice stuff to various markers. I had him convert my right feed Sniper 2 into a Stock Class Sniper 2. He did a pretty good job, although mine being the first the others following (bandwagon people) have looked nicer. He's done some custom work for some markers that have been used in various Scenario games and have appeared on the pages of some magazines like APG. Not a bad guy to be around, he's got a lot of ideas in his head.

he doesn't do any of the anodizing.....it's all outsourced somewhere eles.

Brad does a lot of custom milling tho. He also invented the Sniper SHO (Super High Output) it's still a pump marker, but just barely....

yea. we talk about it and other stuff for about 20mins...i was going to send my ir3 to whitewolf to get annoed, mostly b/c its cheaper and also b/c the can most likely match the ocean green i had

oh man that sucks... nothing is worse than waiting for that LONG LONG weekend to get overwith... well i had the same thing but with shipping issues.. like i ordered my second IR3 just in time for the weekend to hit (no shipping by UPS then) and then had a nice holiday on monday.. yeah that blew.. then best part, tuesday i had nobody home at my house when UPS came and it was a package that HAD to be recieved in person... doh! well wednesday was fun to finally get it, but ihad to go to work until like 10 at night... hehe

I went out to sea for two weeks about a week after I had ordered my iR3. That was a longass two weeks, but I did get my hands on it when we pulled back in.

yeah, he's done a lot of work on Cockers and small projects.This is by far the most expensive marker he's ever done.

dynasty didn't have custom angels... they were sponsored by Cobra (mamba IR3)who is just like warped sportz and impact.. they make the guns for a mass market, i mean like a team who has their guns designed for just them and are angels... oh yeah check this out...
so ups always comes around 3:00pm at my hizzy... wel li had to work at 4 so i ended up waiting for my speed as long as possible, even came in late... well when i left, so did the parents... well needless to say the friggen ups man came when nobody was home and didn't leave it, i got to wait until tomorrow.. oncec again i work at 4... we'll see i may be an angry camper but the rents' are staying home for me... add one more sleepless night.. yaya

suspense is killing me... man don't feel bad if you didn't get it yet... i just talked to my buddy getting a custom free flow/ trauma Matrix built for him.. he's going on like 4-5 months and was supposed to ge it a couple days ago but the barrel he was getting had different anno than what he wanted.. hehe. good thing he's in with those guys at pro paintball cuz they hooked him up with a stock "lockout" one until he gets his in...

Ok, today i called Paintball Maxx to see if it was finally ready, it was. So i went there and picked it up...guesss what, there was a problem. The metal in the gun isn't consitant all the way through the body. SO if you cut, if would come out uneven, or at least thats what i think he said.

I think they like tested on the site rail and messed up so they gave him a new site rail and said we cant do it. I dunno.

Well it's not like a stock lcd, where you could mill off a whole lot (i.e. ripper). The iR3 is pretty much milled down enough so that, anymore might cause the body to become too weak.

Good luck in hunting for a new machining artist. Sucks to wait that long to get dissapointed. Oh well, we might see something yet.
