COPS tape

On my trigger frame where the wire runs from the board to my gun for COPS there is a piece of tape that hold it down and wont let it pop up. Is that a special type of tape or....? and is it important? Also the plugs that go into the board COPS Hopper 14 way etc are they unpluggable or are they stationary?

It's scotch tape. they are un-plugable

Tape is just to help keep the cops wire in the groove, so it doesn't get pinched bwtween grip frame and body.
