wdp child
06-24-2003, 10:21 PM
No, Its a double trigger with built in snatch and its got 2 pivot points to avoid the sensative 3 pivot point patent. Its milled by a company and ano'd any color you want. It only cost 125 shiped and you get to pic between 2 different styles of triggers.

ffry- I just got a speed space frame for my 2k3 lcd and i want to file it down to fit the lcd board. I know where to file it down, but what exectally did you use to file off the metal?

MoogLe
07-19-2003, 04:41 PM
a file maybe? or a dremmel, i dont think it really matters what you use, as long as you get the metal off

16_ProGat
07-19-2003, 06:24 PM
buy a blue dust speed and switch the frames =P

cody11scrappy
07-19-2003, 08:35 PM

Well thats pretty sick man. I love the space frame, way more comfortable than a 45 frame. Just my 2 cents.

Later,

thanks guys, what i did was, i used my friends milling machine and kinda free handed it, then i filed the rest with a plain old file to get everything perfect.

Goryevilkitty
07-22-2003, 05:02 PM
yeah, it isn't easy. There was a lot more metal that I had to take off than I originally thought there would be. It took me at least 3 hours to get it all off.

ffr do you like the space frame better? what advantages does it give you? hope it wasnt already asked..

ffry
07-24-2003, 11:09 PM

smartLCD

Awesome, I might do the same when I buy an LCD, but I'm cool with my speed right now.

Sorry if I sound like a n00b and all..but i am so heh.. here goes...

Whats the point of filing on a Space Frame to the 2k3 LCD? Is it just to get the benefits of the space frame (90* grip) w/o having to buy an entierly new marker? Thanks for your response.

08-11-2003, 10:55 PM
pretty much yea, some ppl shoot faster and feel more comfortable with a space frame/

ffry

first, you have to file the inside of the frame so the board will fit, the lcd board is sort of a weird L shape while the ir3 board is fairly straight up and down..... second as for the difference, the 45 frames are designed to be held at arms length likea pistol, not up close to you...... the spaceframe is designed to be held close to you comfortably. it also allows you to tuck your forearm/elbow in better
