i just purchased a speed and have heard alot about the preset tanks. first is it really going to be a problem if i use a 3000 preset tank? second should i buy a regulator like the thor reg from pmi? third should i adjust the dwell instead of get a second reg? if so what should i set it at? fourth are two volumizers better than one?

Use the search feature next time. I'm sure this has been discussed before. If you use a preset tank, get a reg like the THOR. DWELL has no affect on any thing in this post. Volumizers don't really do anything anyway so it doesn't matter. They're just for looks.

As per Frazier's sticky in this forum, preset tanks willbe fine. And the volumizers do have an effect on the speed. You can toss any one on there, but if you want to tweak and fine tune, get WDP's volumizer set.

well volumizers on the valve side can drop the psi in the speed to like 180psi witch is very good! :) but the volumizer on the bat side has no use, it's just for looks. also the reg on the speed is VERY good and dosn't need replacement. leave your dwell alone, only change if u need to.
