View Full Version : Intellifeed Evo2
I have an Evo 2 with intellifeed and no longer have an IR3 to power it so it needs a new home. The shell itself is in fair condition but comes with the custom board and the intellifeed wire installed. Works great. I can send pictures but it will look like every other egg you'll see with intellifeed wire protruding from the bottom.
$80
Thanks
As far as trades the only thing I may need is a large gear bag.

how exactly did you make it work on intellifeed? and did the commands also work? like spin after every shot etc.

yeah that is quite odd for it being on an egg.. i never saw that before... and the price for it is a little high... i can get a brand new clear one for $79 at pbgear.com... no offense i am sure you just want the most cash possible but it ain't gonna' happen... expecially since people are buying the eggs for their speeds (which don';t accept intellifeed options...)
A guy made a "Custom" board. The board operates via the intellifed controls on the gun. So you set it to spin for a certain amount of time it feeds by the amount of shots. The intellifeed soldered straight to the board. There are no eyes, no on/off switch, no low power light, no speed switch. That side is nothing but holes where the other parts went through. I've placed a sticker to keep foreign matter and paint out. The paddles spin using the batteries from the Evo not your gun so the Evo batteries last forever and it didn't have a noticable effect on the gun. I can't say for certain but I would guess that it is faster than a normal egg because it is feeding on command and not waiting for a gap.
Kriptic-- the price is high to cover the cost of the board and the intellifeed wire from Cobra paintball. YOU CAN'T BUY AN INTELLIFEED EGG ANYWHERE.

well it sounds sweet, but is really gonna be faster than a y-board. i mean it sound like with all the soldering youve done, you wont be able to upgrade to a y-board
You really can't see much in the pictures. The longbow stickers cover the holes. The intellifeed wires come from a small hole in the seem of the egg.
You could remove the board and replace it with a Y board but that's sort of defeating the purpose. A Y board still waits for a gap before feeding.
I got the board from a guy from this group who was nice enough to make it at a reasonable charge.

problem is that the loader doesn't feed quite as fast. Jason had one a while back, and while the idea was quite good, it just doesn't feed nearly as fast as 2 batteries. The y-board is also quite a bit faster just in side by side comparison with one of the original boards as you'll note from my review/comparison thread.
However since the user is attempting to sell his Evlution....everyone take their comments elsewhere, this is the classifieds section and no one wants people bantering back and forth or attempting to slam a user for selling something.

emmit- we are just trying too find out more about the product so we can buy it. for example, it doesn't run off of the angels battery like you said, so it wouldnt be much slower...we arnt trying to debate, we are asking questions directed to the seller.
It's no problem Emmit I don't think some of these guys know how Intellifeed works. This particular model runs off the same two 9v batteries, not the gun battery, so it moves just as fast or faster than regular.
The egg is activated by the gun. So no need to turn it on/off. Just power up the gun and go.
The new board is really very simple looking. It just acts as a relay from the gun to tell the motor when to turn.

yea we're not bashing or anything, its just the first time most of us has ever seen this, speaking of which , you say this has a custom board, why does it really need a board for intellifeed? like with revs you can jsut attach the wires to the motor which i did, would that work with this maybe?
If your asking if you could attach the wires to the original board, I have no idea. I never had an Intellifeed revy. I just know about this one.
That may be what Emmit is referring to that runs from the gun battery and is slow.
