COPS 2 Question

I tried searching but didn't find a direct answer to my question? This may sound unenlightened but I haven't kept up with IR3 technology.

How do you know if an IR3 has COPS 2, I know this one has mem 6?


And what exactly does COPS 2, and MEM 6 mean?

Mem6 comes with Cops2... COPS (Crystal Operated Paint Sensor) 2 detects paint and slows down the rate of fire if it doesn't detect any paint. Mem6 is the software version, right now Mem6 is the latest release for iR3s.

I'm pretty sure I just recently gave a good run down on the differences between version 1 and version 2 of COPS. It might've been in the thread Spaced started asking how to set it up, maybe not, but I know I recently did one. Again MEM6 and any variation thereof (ie A or E) all have COPS2.
