View Full Version : Halo B shootdown problems
So I picked up a Halo B at the Chicago Open over the summer, and went to go and use it, and I would take 3 or 4 shots at normal speed, then I would have major shootdown and balls would be rolling out of the end of the barrel. I went back to the Chicago Open the next day and the Odyssey tech told me to increase the dwell and that would fix my problem. Still no such luck. It works for a little longer with the higher dwell, but the same problem still happens. I was just wondering if anybody else has seen this problem and if they know whats wrong or how to fix it. For now I am just using the Halo on my Black Magic, but I would really like to utilize the faster feed rate on the obviously faster marker.

okay wait....you've gone and confused us all...are you having a feed problem associated with your Halo, or are you experiencing a problem with your Angel???? :puzzled:

sounds like your angel has the problem not your halo.
If that's the case, maybe the spring on the anti-2feed ball's too weak (replace the hole thing) or the anti-2feed isn't tight enough. Just seen this at some other forum.

lol its your marker man. Your loader dosn't effect the way your marker shoots.

a revy is an aligated gravity feed so theres not much pressure pushing down on the balls and a halo is a force feed so there is more pressure on the balls, therefor it is easier for it to push past your ball detent.

well just talk to Odyssey and what they told me was that you have to grease the Belt....well it looks like a o-ring and it does work.....but also i did some mods on my other one and that works too.......

I'll have to try that...grease=belt slipping ....I already burnt a motor up using black paint, but this would save me alot of trouble if using a little grease would allow me to shoot black shelled paint...
