Lower you're dwell.

If that doesnt work take it to a tech or someone who knows what they are doing and pull out a shim or two in the LPR.

or maybe try adjusting your minireg...

my gun seems to be able to get below 300fps. i have not been able to put it over a chrony but it seems like i can drop it down pretty low....by the way i am using a Crossfire 68ci/4500psi tank with a LP output of 450psi...

i use a Xfire 68/4500 LP 450psi tank. works perfectly and i can adjust it from low 200s to high 300s so obviously something is wrong with your speed. probably a high dwell, high lpr pressure, or something wrong with the minireg.

dont forget, the input pressure from the tank will not affect velocity if you have the mini reg inline... unless the pressure from the tank is under what the pressure is that the mini regs down to

Yeah, try adjusting your mini reg adjuster screw IN (clockwise) to turn the velocity down.

yeah, just try adjusting the minireg, and if that doesnt work for ya, you could always try bringing it to a tech, maybe one of them could help.

ok well i was looking to get a speed.. can i just use my 68/45 HP tank on it? will that be ok? will i be able to get the velocity below 300 fps? thanks

i turned my mini reg all the way down and still the same thing. you think if i put my dwel down it will help. the dye volomizer made it worse.

did you clean the mini? sometimes crap gets in there and makes it stick, take it apart and clean then regrease it, where are you located in the usa.... a local service center might be close

The dye volumizer would increase your velocity at the same pressure since it allows u to decrease your input to atain the same velocity. Since your input is not decreasing to compensate, your velocity would increase if you had it on. Thats not a solution to your problem, but i thought i would mention it.

Yes, lower your dwell.

yea i thought maybe lowering my dwell would help but am at school so i have to wait till i get home. but yea took my dye volmizer off but it went down a little but still not under.
