This may have been covered in another thread but I was wondering if anyone noticed that the Speed Bolt and the R11 bolt are almost if not exactly alike. I was wondering if it WAS the r11 bolt or just a bolt designed by WDP to be exactly alike the r11. Thanks.

*cough* ripped off *cough*
In my classes, I bust kids for copying but I don't think WDP will get in any trouble.

yeah the bolt uses the same open face design, it's very similar but not identical.

this is sort of off topic but i noticed that the creator of the R11 is now sponsored by Dye, that being Eric Roberts...
but yeah..the speed bolt is basically the R11....

It was a good design, so WDP copied it. Cobra made a good ball detent, so WDP copied that. I like the fact that they progress and aren't too proud to admit that other people made better parts than they did. Adapt, overcome, learn and progress.
If only other companies would do that perhaps the Timmy wouldn't have plastic all over...
