Hey everybody,
I've conducted a search to no avail, if there have been previous threads on this issue please refer me to them. I just received my Speed and am having trouble opening the roto-breech. I pull the breech pin all the way back so that it clears the hole in the back of the breech, and I can move the roto-breech about 1 or 2 mm. After that, I cannot pull the roto-breech out any further, it makes a metallic clinking noise as if the bolt pin is hitting something. I know that the bolt is not sticking out too far because the roto-breech will still rotate 1 or 2mm.
What do I do? Please let me know, Thanks.

Push a squeegie down there and push the bolt back.

Oh wait, I have to push the bolt back every time to open the breech, this isn't too practical for use at the field... what do I do now?

are you sure your getting enough air into the Speed to make the bolt make a full movement? that could be a problem and Jedrith I just had to say that sorry.

Fishsticks......you should only have to push the bolt back if you've degassed the marker. Sometimes when you degas the marker the last shot leaves the hammer a little forward which means the bolt is also a little forward instead of fully seated to the back. This is what prevents you from opening the breech. However when you've got air on the marker everything is in a fully seated position ready to fire and this allows you to open the breech anytime you want.
Clear up the confusion?

Nah, I posted it in the Speed section. Anyhow, it opens now, thanks for the suggestions guys.
A few more things:
- Emmit, can you take pics of what you did with the sticky tac? I'd like to see it.
- What are the threads for the holes on the bottom of the grip frame (The place where you mount your drop forward/rail), the screws from my Cocker and Viking will only screw in for half a turn or so, and I don't want to damage the threads.
I'll post more questions as I get them, thanks guys!
The threads of the screw are too big.
You don't need sticky tack to get rid of that tape, just take knife and trim a small amount off, and then you won't see it sticking out.

ummm check the ram stroke and adjust it accordingly because my ir3 had the same problem with the r-11 bolt... fix this up and you'll like never have to pudh it back by hand again...or squeege
