been there a couple of times...a ship I worked on was in drydock in Rotterdam for about 3 weeks...also had a one night layover in Amsterdam on my way home about 2 months later....not counting the numerous layovers in Amsterdam airport on my way to and from Norway if any of those count
spent new years going in to 2k in amsterdamn. arrived dec 26 came home jan29. best month of my life. only mistake i made was bringin my girl( like sand to the beach)

yeah you can't take your sig. other with you to Amsterdam...you gotta go with a bunch of buddies...that's the way to do it...there was about 5 or 6 of everytime we did anything...we had a good time with that
