I am planning on getting a Free Flow Mod on my angel from Pro Paintball. I have heard good things about it. I just wanted to know peoples opinions on it, if you have one and stuff. Let my know.

I personally did not have good luck with it, but never tried to fix it myself. If you want an ERA kit without an LPR let me know i'll let one go cheap. Including myself I know 3 people that had them installed and all of us now use the stock LPR again.

Styles- Was the ERA you had for an LED or for and LCD? I've been hearing that the one for the LED works pretty good, but the one for the LCD doesn't work so well. Any opinions on that?

I have also heard that. I am trying to see what people think about the mod on an LED.

I had the FF Mod for both my LED and LCD and I just didnt see the improved accuracy and consistancy that I was supposed to. In fact, my consistancy/ accuracy was WORSENED from the stock LPR setup. I messed around with them for a couple weeks, even bought a rock-o-meter gauge to make sure they were both at the right pressure. I could never get either the LED or LCD to run properly with the mod installed though, and I eventually gave up. Both FF ERA's and Rock LPR's now occupy spaces of honour in my spare parts drawer...

Heh. Childe, would you be willing to part with the LED ERA by any chance? I'm considering trying one out on the LED, and am only put off by the $100 price tag. =)

I had some bad experiences with Propaintball installing it on my two different times and it still not working(at all), I basically got fed up with it and took it off. I never tried to get it working myself.

From what i've heard other people say is it does work ok IF you run it around the stock 85-90psi. The Rock may be more consistent and flow better than the stock LPR, in that case you may see improved accuracy I suppose. If you like to tinker around I think it's something to look at.

I don't know what the difference between the LED and LCD version is, i've got both in my Angel parts drawer as well. I believe the one in my LED is the one with the threaded valve spring stop washer. The ones out of my buddies gun have a machined stop on the ERA manifold.

Just remember if you run your LPR at a lower pressure you will most likely have to retune the gun. The snap ring needs to be adjusted otherwise the lower pressure won't overcome it. Also you might have to open your dwell, and it's recommended you clean the solenoid spools especially on LEDs.
