Difference Between Tourny Levels?

i was just wondering wat the difference between rookie/novice is and novice/am. we are playing in lots of local tournys right now but not sure where to place ourselves in a league so if anyone has info on the difference let me knwo thanks

if you've never played Tournies before go ahead and play your first one as Rookies unless you are some sort of super godlike team and you're beating all the Am teams in your area. You can always bump up next event, but you can't go back down.

Here in Texas most Rookie teams do not play out of their class, so you'll play Rookies all day from Prelims to Finals. Novice and Am mix it up however with seperate Semi's and Finals.

So a Novice team will play a certain number of teams from the Novice level, and 1 or 2 Am teams. Points is all that matters at that point.

yea weve been playing novice in local tournys and we have always finished top 3. i was jsut wondering wat the difference between novice/rookie were. but we arent sure if we should go up to am?
