What the hell is karma???

To sum it up, right now and until the bugs are worked out, karma means nothing.

on other foums i have been to karma was basically something you gave the user if you liked/agreed to their post etc or if they were just being nice, so user with high karma were pretty trusted and well known, basically a form of user rating system

thats another use of it but our system is to buggy to tell you that since you can cheat it so easily.

any idea when this sytem will be up and running? and one more thing, will the system work like those little points on the back of patatoe chips like pluto points or whatever where u get enugh then u can buy a really cool prize? thx, sorry if this didnt make sense

well like they said at the start, its there but its not working...

They probably have to make it so that it traces your ip so that you cant have like 2 accounts and rack up the karma on one pc. If you have 2 pc's then i dont know how to solve that one...

well you need a valid email to register, take a bit of work to register lots of accounts, and if you have so much karma from just a few accounts it would be obvious

when its working correctly you cant just keep giving the same user karma, it logs who has gave who karma

Is there like a limit of 1 karma per day per person to give to the same person? I mean what if someone is on a roll and deserves more that one karma? Do they ask you if they can have another karma point to give? Or am i getting way to in depth?

you'll notice someone has been playing around inside the database coughmattcough took most of you guys long enough to notice it tho.....but see one of the things I don't like about the current Karma is that if someone gives you karma (good or bad) you don't know why, you literally have to search all your posts and look for it, and then if they don't leave a message how do you know why they disagreed, or what they agreed with.....kinda crappy if you ask me. Although I know why I got some negative last night, someone was upset because they got censored for being out of line..:doh:

Hey how about some karma for this one: While in the process of looking for a back up marker I had put away a little cash:clap: Unfortunatly last week my dog (in the avatar) got really sick:sick: Being the responsible person that I am I forked over around 800 in vet bills with my angel $$ instead of racking up a credit card bill. Yeah she's fine. It was something in her blood that the doctors will never know about. It was scary to see a 130lb dog lose 20lbs in about 3 days. She says thanks to all the guys for thinking about her
