I just got one of these off of eBay from jenandtonyp. Their product rocks and is very sturdy, durable. The plexiglass is like 1/4" thick. Probably not something you would want to take to the field, but is great for displaying my baby at home. They also make them out of oak if you are interested in the wood look.

No Skeletar, he didn't make mine. I'm not a particular fan of the PVC stands...great for the field, but I needed something to show off my baby when not playing. The Angel in the pics isn't mine, it is either Jen's or Tony's I suspect. I have a 2K1 C&C LCD that has these in Chrome: 45/45 A.I.R., Lady Drop, Twisted Low Rise, Bullet Volumizer, Adrenalin Ball Detent, Double Trigger Frame w/ Black Dye Stickies, 15 Degree ASA, Warped Sportz Backplate, as well as a Stainless Freak Back, and the rest of the body/barrel is Red. I will try and get some pics of it since I just got a digital camera and post them here and in the LCD forum.

the stands i make are out of pvc and i will paint them ur color ya want ya the flame stands are nice but alot more money i have sold over 100 of these in the last week and have had the ppl reply back to me and say how good they are and are very sturdy and stable so email me or post back

I hvae a similar designed PVC one. THey are nice casue they fold up easily for storage.

Actually, I didn't pay much more for the plexiglass. I agree with you though on the convenience of the PVC stands for the field use. At the time, I was just looking for something to put my baby on while it waits at home for it's next time at the field. If I had thought a little more ahead, I might have gotten one that I could use at both the field and at home. Good luck with your continuing success with the stands, if it turns out I think I need another one, I'll let you know.

what kind of paint does everyone use to paint there stands? I want something that won't cip or rub off easily. thx

On PVC you would want to use like an outdoor paint. First want u want to do is take a mediumn grit sand paper and rub in over the pipe gently to give the paint something to stick to. Them take like a wet paper towel or spounge and wipe all the loose stuff off. Then take the spray paint of your choice. you can get some glossy stuff or flat stuff and maybe even find a color that matches ur gun (i've seen crome spray paint). Then lightly put a coat on and let it dry for like 2 hrs. Then go back and do another coat. And if u want to make a fade, start making ur fade by lightly spraying then going heavy. It should turn out nicly. I did it to my friends gun stand and it matches his Pewter to black Dark.


Could someone send me a good picture of a gun stand, like a top, side, botom and all kinds of angles. I'm tirng to make one but can't figure out how. lol. I usualy lay my gun down on a foam pad i bring with me.

gun stands....hmmm... ima make one for my wall.... Nail a large peice of wood to my wall with a professional painting... and have little pegs come out for my guns...

lol, get some peg board and some hook and hang ur guns like they do at pro shops. thats wut i do. lol, but i also built a plastic PVC pipe stand. Now only if i would ever put my gun down... lol

Hey guys, I know this sounds bad, but could we say "markers" instead of "guns". It has a bad conatation when we say guns. I think that the more we make it sound like hunting, and real life/death the more flak we are going to get from the press. Thanks.
