angel techs

hey i how would you go about being certified by wdp to be an angel tech???? i need a job and i am hoping that the local stores willl be more likely to hire me if i am certified

We've gone through this before....

First you have to already be employed by a shop. There has to be a need for a Tech in your area. WDP has a certain number of Techs to allow them to keep a tight control on the Quality of the work, and the reputation as well. Now that you're affiliated with a shop, you have to get over to England for a course. No small task in itself as it's not like WDP runs a course every other week or something. You'll have to contact WDP in England and find out when their next scheduled course is. It also helps a lot if you know someone who can recommend you for the course. Other than that you're pretty much over a barrel.

Emmit, you should get a part time job at a field, then see if you can become a tech. I know you could. How much does this whole process cost minus the airfare and hotel?

Well there were supposed to be classes at the new HB location, but i dont know what happened.

Yes, I also heard that the HB location would host Tech classes. I have thought of doing it myself...

I dont know about HB, i asked for information when it became avaliable and never received anything.
