Has anyone ever tried using a sight on their angel? I had one on my phantom way back when and I've seen some pics of dynasty guys using the Dyes. What's your opinion?

in my opinion a paintball gun isn't accurat enough to use a scope, the mani reason i can see dynasty gaving them on their guns is because dye sponsors them, but to each his own...

well when I used to have a phantom (pump) I had a red dot sight on it and I thought it made quick aiming alot easier. Granted at longer distances sights are useless but for things like hyperball with my pump, shots would always go within 6 inches of where I put the dot.(playing back) I just wanted to hear some feedback from anyone who had ever tried a sight on their angel. I'll be quiet now.

yeah, you do have a point there, in speed ball in may be worth a try since I do play front, even though tourney players consider scopes newbish, it may help just to get dialed in, in the genral direction while snapping, hmmmm....

I was looking into them because I have a problem with snap shooting. I talked to a guy that owned one and he said they do not fit IR3's.

oh yeah because you need a special dye sight rail, and it's for the lcd, so no izon on ir3s for now, unless you fit it somehow, which prob. can be done pretty easily, if I buy one for my matrix I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Yeah you have to get a different sight rail. I realized after I got my gun that you can't really do anything to it like that because I have pewter, so its impossible to find another part the same color =/ gayyy

I wasn't really concerned about the color, I didn't know they even made one that fit the ir3, btw will the izon still work ok if I play inside?

depends on how well lit the building is

I have used the Izon and was dissappointed with it. Unless you were outdoors and it was VERY bright you weren't going to see anything. It's basically a prodot sight that is sized down. I think such things actually CAN work but you would have to get a lot of practice using them. Once you do that they can help you set up your strings of fire without having to walk them in as far to your target.

If you want one also consider the Cobra version, but otherwise spend the money on some paint.

My friend has one on his bushy, but to me its more of a cosmetic deal. To actually see the dot, I had to focus on the sight, not was I was shooting at. So my accuracy actually would go down. Plus, like styles said, its hard to see if your bunker is in the shade.

the izon is supposed to rediculusy good. the fiber optics let you see through the gun to the target(using both eyes) its like alaser but you can use it at any distance with no batteries.

My only concern is that my dark is intellifeed ready....would the rail be able to protect the wires and crap?
