yeah...im starting to think that a clean up of inactive members would be a good idea...i mean seriously, how many of those members who signed up somthig like a year ago that have never posted will all of a sudden post? IMO, i think it would be a good idea to clean up the 'dead' memberships...

I suppose that would work, since people who are not active shouldnt be considered members. The question is if the Mods have enough time to go through and decide who is "inactive" or not. IMO it doesnt matter if people are inactive or not, and the 7,000 members simply shows that over 7,000 people came through here and decided that it would be worth while to join.

I am one of those 7000 that reads but hardly ever posts. I believe that the Angel is one of the better markers out there.


I have a GZ Timmy but there is just something about my IR3, that seems so much better. Which is why I really think I need a New Angel Speed. IMHO.

I understand that everyone does not post, i didnt for a long time. But man if we had 7000 bodies tossing around info tell me it wouldnt be great.

the numbers just look good, you cant find a forum online that more than 10% of the member are active.

What I don't get is how I just interacted with member 7772 yet the info at the top claims we only have 7610 members. Matt? I'm :puzzled:

the numbers are a tad bit off becuase of all the server switches the database is a little wrong, when we imported the old user list the some of the users were doubled up and i had to go back though and delte them, but the user id table was never set back to the right number so there are gaps between some of the users, not in exact sequential order. So that is why the user id of the latest user is different from that of the number of members.

Yeah, this site is exellent. I used to always be on air-powered.com before i made the switch to Angel. I read every single new post on this site daily but i prolly average 2 posts a day..or 2 threads a week. Thanks to everyone that makes it possible for us angel owners to share in the joy! :)
