I just got my new R-11 bolt in the mail and I tryed to put in my gun and it wont fit. Its hitting the hammer, just by a little bit, when I try to close the breech. Could I loosen the Ram a little bit from the back, and do you think that it will fit then. Also I dont have the angel tool to remove the Ram do you know of anything else that will work to remove it.

Thanks.

yes you have to adjust the ram when you install a new bolt in the marker for optimal performance.......

snap ring pliers might work

for optimal performance whats the best way for the bolt to sit in the hammer?

Ok, I got the bolt in after taking a little screw driver and putting in the holes and turing god that was hard, now whats the best way to adjust the bolt for the best performance.

Rotate the Ram assembly clockwise until slight resistance is felt in opening the breech block. If rotated too far the will not open, so rotate counterclockwise and repeat operation. (The Ram must always be rotated clockwise when setting)

for questions on how to set the RAM read Ken Crane's thread in the Technical Reference section, he tells you exactly what to do.......that is if you can't read it from the manual that came with the marker

Damian, I'm not sure if this is what needs to be fixed, but i've had this happen before... Check that the 14 way valve isn't plugged into the hopper port on the PCB board. There are 2 ports right above the LCD screen, the 14 way wire needs to be in the bottom one (the one closest to the LCD).
