Has anyone shot this? The fill sucks, and the balls don't shoot as well as yellow evil. I don't know why yellow evil shoots so well, but orange really sucks.

I think I'm switching to AMP. It is $15 a case cheaper, has a better fill, and shoots almost as good as yellow.

Who makes AMP? I've never seen it around where i play.

you're shooting retail evil......it's Marb shell with an Evil fill....I don't like Retail Evil because I have never liked Marbs. Ultra Evil, or RP Premium are my faves.

PMI prem. pink....the ultimate unsult to be hit by that stuff. They were out of it a the field this weekend, darn it!

I love shooting the RP Premium Hot Pink......you can see where the ball is going, and you can tell when it breaks......I turned many a player pink this weekend

we used to call lighting someone up with pink "feminizing" a player, after some kid said he looked like he was wearing a toto after 10 shots to the hip.

Lol feminizing. I like to use just cheap old stuff because i'm cheap i can get away with team colors and not have one break, at 38 a case i'm lovin it.

AMP is made by Zap, and is the step below Chronic. The only problem with it is every 7-8 balls, you will have one that doesn't shoot well.

Emmit, I'm almost positve you have that backwards. Retail evil is the evil shell with the All-Star fill. There is also stores that sell white evil. White evil is suppose to stain.

I use to buy All-Star before evil came out, now I can't find a store that sells All-Star.

SCM.....that "white" shell you're talking about is Ultra Evil.

Texas is a huge PMI state, and stores either carry National or PMI products. The 2 biggest tournaments in Texas are sponsored by National or PMI.....trust me on this one.

Oh and my local store sells the All-Star, but I don't buy it because it's not nearly as good as the Premium, and no where near the quality it was 5 years ago.

I never liked slam ball, either... I was a marb fan, but it wasn't worth the extra $10...

slam ball is nasty.....I dislike that paint almost as much as Team Colors

Premium better then All-Star? Not around here, i've never seen a case of Premium (and i've gone through a lot of them) that wasn't EXTREMELY greasey. I won't let that stuff touch my Angel anymore. As for Evil, i've noticed that it has the exact same clear, dry shell as All-Star, Marbs have the smooth shell.

around here, premiums are very dry...rarely have a prob with that stuff....that AMP you speak of was selling for $25/case last year at cup..It was decent paint for practice (wasn't as good as ultra evil..I wouldn't use it in a tourney)..Diablo/Draxxus is big around here, I love it (esp. midnight and blaze)..shoots straight and has a good shell...

If I had one of thoes paintball machines I could make my own and that would be the best out of all of them.

Maybe AMP is better now, but I like it for the price. In a tourney you would want to shoot top quality of any brand, so you would shoot chronic. Chronic pink is the most unwipeable paint I've ever seen.

I hated midnight when I bought a case. They didn't break well, and the fill was like water.

All RP paint is dry and dull looking, because there shells aren't made from gelatin. My only problem with RP is their fills aren't as good as other companies, and there sizies aren't consistant. One time you will get paint that will roll out of a barrel, the next week you will get the same brand and the paint will be huge. Way to big for the same barrel. They are fairly consistant within a case though.

I think RP paint shoots better then any other paint, which is why I've been using nothing but it for something like 2-3 years.

it seems like quite a few paint manu companys have quality control issues. marbs were tops before i quite playing about 3years ago. getting back in again i asked around to see what people thought about paint. of course i got different answers all over the place... and the general consensus was that marbs had gone down hill.

so i picked up a case of blaze based on a local shop recommendation. it was somewhat inconsistent in size. some people recommended .688 but i had to use .684 so they wouldnt roll out of the barrel. ???

since then i've used rps mercury and marbs. mercury is pretty good. nasty thick fill. lately i've been using marbs exclusively and they seem just fine. pretty consistent and still .688

Wait, so is the yellow Evil the good stuff? Thats what I have been using, and have had no problems with it. I didn't think there was any diff. between yellow and orange evil. I'm gonna keep using evil, cause it hasn't failed me yet. Real consistent, and the dull shells make it easier to see if the paint if suffering any moisture damage.

D7.......that's the retail Evil....I shoot it only when the stuff at Tournaments is crap (we had a choice between Mercury, Retail Evil, and Ultra Evil last event)

idk, i use ultra evil in orange, and that stuff is beautiful. even retail evil has a wonderfully thick inside. i found a couple balls from november of last year, and they were still perfect circles w/ no flat spots

Marbs and premium are the worst paint I have ever shot. I dont knwo whats up with it but it always breaks in my gun. My freind has a LCD matrix that is ultra-lp. He said he was breaking a lot of it. I always shoot Big Ball or just econo.
