I've only charged my battery once since I got my angel. I used the stock charger with a Radio Shack wall adapter (13.5v 1A) and it worked fine. I just tried to recharge it but it wouldn't charge. I followed the instructions but the screen would still show Tab in. I turned on the switch then plugged in the charger, i also tried it in reverse order. I pulled out the charger connector from the marker and after a few seconds the LCD went from tab in to safe. I plugged the charger back in and the bars started moving like they were charging. But when I took it off the charger it still acted as if there was no charge. Thats when I pulled out the volt meter. The battery had 4.8 volts but the charger had an output of 17 VOLTS! I traced it back to the wall adapter, that's the last time I buy anything from radio shack! Could this overvoltage cause significant damage to the board? If so can it be fixed?
