Dial bezel wear

Noticed that my dial bezel on the rear of the trigger frame is turning black, as in the silver paint is wearing off. I assume this is normal but wanted to ask if anyone else sees this happening on their a1 as well.

Yes, that happens to them. Last I saw, BoB has them listed on FMA for sale is you wanted a new one.

interesting...I've had my A1 for over a year and a half and my bezel is still silver

Yup not too worried about it was just wondering if they were originally made of metal but changed to plastic mid run.

I've noticed my first chrome bezel didn't ever discolour in over a year of use... When it broke, I replaced it with a new one, which turned black in just a few weeks... hmmm
