A1 Minireg mod - how to ?

Hi,
Sorry for this question but i am a little bit confused (yeah i know stickies..).I have joy a1 and brand new myth reg.I want use this reg with cp bottle on my marker.I think i need a minireg mod.So, i can't found "clear" spring stack info for mod :squigglemouth:

Myth should not require you to modify the spring pack. If you really feel the need to perform the mod just remove the top spring:

"macroline side" )()() ==| "marker side" (total ? pieces..)

Just used my myth reg for the first time yesterday "without minireg mod", and it shot great.But i feel more kick.Is this normal or myth (more pressure) related ? Minireg mod still not required ? :squigglemouth:

check your pressures...if you're input pressure is good and your LPR pressure is good, then it's fine. Keep in mind one of the selling points of the myth reg/tank is that it's much lighter...less weight = more kick.

If you can't get the velocity to a safe level without shootdown, then yes. I would probably do the mod to start off, then undo it if I was unable to get velocity high enough...but that's me.

Im not sure what "mini reg mod" that is being refered to here but all you have to do is get the CP adaptor, any reg U like, CP ANS or whoever set your presures and you can use any tank you want HP or LP.

mini reg mod is in the stickies...you remove or flip one spring in the spring stack of the mini-reg and then you can safely use HP or LP. No adapter, no new reg.
