Virtue Board eye ??

Im looking for a new board ATM, and Im really close to buying a Virtue board for my G7.

However, what makes me hesitant is the disclaimer on FMA's websight saying that if you have factory eyes, the board may not read them and a new set of eyes must be purchased. I did not find the same disclaimer on Virtue's website and was wondering the reasoning behind this statement.

Quite simple, the factory eyes are driven a completely different way than the majority of aftermarket boards power the factory eyes. With this said, if the eyes have been used for a period of time then sometimes they will not work properly with these aftermarket boards. The same problem has existed Tadao, Angry, Un1 (w/Nox chip and some other DM chips), TAG etc... It is a 50/50 buy the board and if the eyes do not work properly then buy a new of eyes. If you search the forums you will find threads where players have experienced this problem.
